Celebrating historic black heroes
This week the Year 5 class had the opportunity to attend a workshop at the St Albans Museum and Gallery.
Fantastic Friction!
This afternoon we had lots of fun investigating friction outside with our ramps, a coin, a plastic cube and even ice cubes!
We made oracle bones!
This term in History we are learning about the Shang Dynasty. In just two lesson I’m impressed with how much the class have remembered!
Special Harvest Celebration
We were invited to join some other schools at the Church Schools’ Harvest Celebration Service at the beautiful St Albans Cathedral.
Forest School
We have had wonderful Forest School sessions this half term focusing on exploration, collaboration and identification of the plants and animals we have found.
Shang Dynasty drama workshop
Today Year 5 used drama and role-play to work through a range of learning objectives linked to their History Topic, the Shang Dynasty.
