Last Friday we were visited by Active Outdoor Discovery who treated the whole school to a festive exploration of our school grounds. All classes were able to explore the grounds using a map, directions and compasses. We helped the leader move his treasure to secret locations using directions and then tried to find all the hidden flags around the grounds. It was a really fun day that allowed all the children to embed key geographical skills as well as having fun with maps!
