Lighting up!

Our science topic this half term is Electricity and we have been creating circuits using components such as wires, cells, buzzers, switches and bulbs. Once we constructed our circuits, we then planned different types of enquiry, controlling variables where necessary. We investigated what happens when we change components within the circuit. For example, what will happen to the volume of the buzzer if we increase the length of the wires; will a circuit work if it contains 2 switches; what happens if we add two lamps instead of just one; how many components can we add into a circuit containing one cell for it still to work…?
