DT – seasonal foods – making Grape Jam!
Our Design and Technology unit this half term has been seasonal foods. To explore this, we spent time talking about the benefits of eating seasonally before making Grape Jam using grapes from our school site! Then, we enjoyed tasting our jam, along with some other jams to talk about textures and tastes.

Our trip to the Alban Arena!
Today the whole of Abbey School visited the Alban Arena to marvel at ‘Elf the Musical’! It was just what we needed to get us in the Christmas spirit! Lots of singing, dancing, catchy tunes and jokes… smiles all round!
